Ten Minutes in a Paddock

So peaceful is silence without the roar of trucks, buses and cars.

The pace of country life is so easy to bear.

To watch a sunset is magic….

I took ten minutes from my rushed life to sit and watch and breathe.

I saw…………….

Christmas beetles crackling

Amongst the leaves,

Baby Galahs screeching for food,

Magpies and wagtails

Nestling with their young.

Paddocks covered in

Masses of purple flowers,

And Thousands of bees swarming

Collecting their pollen.

Small clouds filtered

Throughout the aqua sky,

The potent sun’s reflection

Shone crimson and gold colours

Upon them lighting up the earth.

As the sun slowly disappeared,

The colours faded.

Down went the sun,

Away with its glow.

Gone for another day;

Darkness had fallen

The brilliant sunset

Gone until tomorrow…

His Beating Heart

My eyes open to see a magnificent day

I feel the winds embrace me

His light radiates around my soul

It lifts me up and gives me strength

Listen to my heart,

It whispers Sounds of

His beating heart…

The Spirit of the Lord

Whispering songs bloom
Secrets of Eternity…
Breathtaking peace
And harmony surround me.
Heaven is so close I can feel it,
I am in the midst of Heaven;
Feeling the Spirit
Of the Lord.

Always With You

Let me always be with You,
Even in the hours of uncertainty
Guide my fears toward You.
Let me always be with You,
Walk with You;
Climb every step
And go beyond ~
Let me always be with You.

His Majesty

Hear His words,
As He whispers
Across the wind.
Spoken in the darkness,
Spoken in the daylight;
His Majesty is in
Every sound you hear.

So Deep and Wide

I know God is crazy about me ~
I only have to wake up each morning to see
The picture which waits for me each day.
A picture painted perfectly,
Whether I see it as a dreary, bleak day
Or a beautiful, sparkling clear day.
Each day He reaches down
And gives me strength.
Each day I feel His gentle touch.
Each day I hear his words,
”I love you so much.”
Each day I feel peace and comfort in knowing
He has me wrapped in His arms.
Each day I feel His guidance in every step I take.
God’s love for me is so deep and wide…
I could not climb to Heaven without Him.

I Hear, I Believe

I felt an inner emotion,
I heard his voice today;
His words are never wrong.

For My Life

God didn’t promise me
Days without pain,
Or laughter without sorrow,
Or the sun without rain.

He did promise me strength
For all my days,
Comfort for my tears,
And Light for my entire life.
