God is here

I can sit for hours lost in thought.
Pondering about the heavens.
Staring at the vastness of the skies.
Closing my eyes to feel the softness of breezes
Listening to the sounds of life…
Sometimes I drift and let my mind wander,
I can feel the sun beaming down upon me.
And I find myself walking through a lush green forest
Growing beside the stillness, of a brilliant blue lake…
With each soft breeze becoming stronger,
Holding me steady, grounding me
So I don’t drift too far from my wandering…
I pray; who needs a church?
He is shining on me now,
God is here, walking with me.
