Sight

I saw beacons of liberty
Through the eyes of children…

A comforting smile
As I embraced an old man…

Twinkling Stars
In a clouded sky…

A crescent moon
Sitting on the horizon…

The sighting of God
At the beginning of the ocean….

  1. I just love the way you incorporate the beauty of nature and humanity with the hope of God’s love. What an awesome Creator we serve!

May the Love of the Lord Jesus be with you today,
    Scotti

  2. I agree, Scotti; the scripture says that all nature testifies to the glory of God. In our technological age, we are nature poor. The poets were ever using nature to focus perspective toward God in what He created about us. We’re missing that nowadays, but Carol’s bringing it back!

  3. nature’s beauty is our bounty. i ask sometimes how we deserve all these…

oh carol, did we look on each other’s blog at the same time? i just saw your comment pass by…

howdy? i hope you are fine and all your family and beatie too.

  4. Thankyou, all so much for your lovely comments,I could never take full credit for writing sonnets..all my thoughts come from God..I receive my Guidance from Him.

Scotti I agree totally , what an awesome Creator we serve..
